Hola de Costa Rica

Simon and I decided to take a last minute trip to Nosara, Costa Rica! We realized we had 5 days off in a row and needed a quick adventure. Luckily, the flight loads allowed for us to go as well.

We relaxed on the beach, went zipling and surfed!

Superior Springs!

Simon and I went up to Bob's Superior Springs Shop and were given a VIP tour!

It was really interesting to see what goes into making a spring, what is done to the springs, and what kinds of springs are made.

The machines are very interesting to watch! They are so complex and intricate.

If you ever get the chance to go to Bob's shop, we highly recommend it! It was like being in Willy Wonka's Factory, but for springs!

Calvin ~ 2 weeks

Calvin Llewellyn Foss

Taylor and Leslie welcomed Calvin Llewellyn Foss into their family at 6:09 a.m. June 10, 2009. Weighing in at 9lbs 13oz and 21" tall, Calvin made a grand entrance in the world!

No baby yet!

We're waiting. Today is the official due day. Anytime now...

That's my husband!

At some random store we stopped in, there was a parrot and apparently there was a sign that said 'do not touch'... but that didn't stop Simon.... 

The bird lifted one of his feet/claw/paw up, because he wanted to sit on Simon's shoulder...

This is the action shot of the parrot attacking Simon! Luckily, no on was hurt, but the parrot did make off with the button off of his shirt!
